Mr Eaglesfield was the dancing master at Christopher Rich's Drury Lane Theatre during the 16991700 season, but he died before 6 July 1700. On that date a new entry composed by him appeared and he was cited as the late Mr. Eaglesfield. Eales. See ECCLES. Ealy. See ELEY. Eames, William [fl. 1672], musician. William Eames was one of 17 musicians ordered arrested on 2 October 1672 for playing music without a license. Earl, the Messrs Joseph [fl. 1794], singers. Doane's Musical Directory of 1794 listed two men named Joseph Earl, both living at No 4, Gray's Inn Lane.
